The Stangs King Pleasure & the Biscuit Boys in Ffwrn Doors open 6:30pm £15 (£12.50 for members) The Stangs are a three-piece rhythm and blues band from Pembrokeshire, West Wales. Formed in 2015, and now with a debut EP under their belt, The Stangs have been described as one of the UK’s most exciting rhythm and blues bands. The Stangs’ sound has been described as a 21st-century iteration of the early rhythm and blues artists that inspired the likes of The Kinks, The Who, and The Rolling Stones. BBC Radio Wales’ Adam Walton favourably compared The Stangs’ sound to Dr. Feelgood’s early recordings. They will be supporting King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys in recognition of the fact that 2 years ago they did the same but the main band broke down on the motorway and didn’t make it.
