The Stangs are a three-piece rhythm and blues band from Pembrokeshire, West Wales. Formed in 2015, and now with a debut EP under their belt, The Stangs have been described as one of the UK’s most exciting rhythm and blues bands. The Stangs’ sound has been described as a 21st-century iteration of the early rhythm and blues artists that inspired the likes of The Kinks, The Who, and The Rolling Stones. BBC Radio Wales’ Adam Walton favourably compared The Stangs’ sound to Dr. Feelgood’s early recordings.

They will be supporting King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys in recognition of the fact that 2 years ago they did the same but the main band broke down on the motorway and didn’t make it.  The Stangs really stood up to the mark and continued playing all night. https://youtu.be/MNuw8oEEJscKingPleasure

King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys themselves hardly need any introduction.  They have appeared at Aberjazz in the past and the show has totally sold out.

Dazzling musicianship and riveting stage performances.  They are well established as ‘The Kings of Swing’.  They have played all over Europe and the US where one New York magazine said ‘ Those who say that swing is a musical form is best left to the Americans, prepare to be proved wrong, this British combo is bullet proof’.  They are the genuine article, dedicated to shaking you up and swinging you into the middle of next week.
