Fishguard

a beautiful, seaside town on the coast of west Wales.

Fishguard, with its sister towns of Goodwick in the north west and Lower Town to the east, lies in the heart of North Pembrokeshire, home to Britain's only coastal national park, which runs round whole 240 miles of the coast of Pembrokeshire. Famous as the site of the last invasion of Britain and more recently the location for the filming of Moby Dick and the Dylan Thomas classic, Under Milk Wood. With many beautiful sandy beaches, fantastic walks, golf courses, fishing, the Oakwood amusment park, Folly Farm and Bluestone luxury resort, there is plenty to entain you whether you are young or old. However over the August Bank Holiday weekend, the town comes alive to the sounds of live music. In fifteen venues, in pubs, clubs and the local theatre, there is an eclectic choice of jazz and blues, mostly free, and all the ticketed events at very affordable prices. Local bands along with artistes from all parts of the world. Brilliant young musicians mix with seasoned veterans to provide a cornucopia of musical talent. All this can be found at the end of the A40, right next to the ferry terminal, so it can be reached as easily from Ireland as it is from all parts of the UK.

We look forward to seeing you.
