Workshops
26th - 30th August 2010
Salsa Workshop - £5
With Chocolatejazzalsa
(Open to all )
Salsa is essentially Cuban with deep Afro-Cuban beats, and additional musical
influences. The name “salsa” correctly describes the flavour
of this dance: Hot! Danced correctly, there’s a lot of shakin’,
shimmying, and hip action going on. Don’t be deterred - you
can learn how to achieve all of this action in this fun workshop.
Saturday 28th August 2-4pm in the Railwaymen's Club
Boogie Workshop- FREE!
In partnership with Arts Care Gofal Celf

ACGC Dance Artist Saydi Williams.

Brass Workshop with YouTuba - £5
YouTuba workshops aim to be fun and educational at the same time. In this workshop we will be doing some performing, we will be listening to others perform, and everyone who wants to will have a chance to bring their instruments, get involved and play in a massed ensemble. We will be asking anybody who wants to, to bring along a solo piece they have been working on, and have a mini master class with one of the members of YouTuba. The workshop is open to all, bearing in mind the emphasis will be on brass performance.
Monday 30th August 2 - 4pm Theatr Gwaun
